About Me (the web master):

Hello, my name is Ryan Jones.  I am the webmaster of this website.  I got the Xbox 360 when it came out back in 2004 (my dad got a discounted one for me and my brothers since he is a Microsoft Emplolyee), and have had it for about 5 years now.  I also have the original Xbox as well (I actually playtested one before it came out back in 2001 playing the game, NFL Fever 2001 before it came out).  It is one of my favorite game systems, as there are plenty of cool games for this system, it is the first good game system from the US (before the Xbox series, Japan dominated the gaming industry, especially with Sega, Nintendo and Sony being the key players at the time).  Now, the Xbox 360 is not without its issues. For one, like many people, I've encountered bugs, like the Ring of Death Glitch (where the ring on the on button goes red an the system shuts down).  Also, I do have PS2 and there are some nifty games for that as well, such as Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2, Final Fantasy 10, Mega Man X8 and others.  I have also played the Nintendo Wii, and so I do have a feel for that system too.  My father is a Microsoft employee and works as a support manager near Seattle, WA.  He does not work on the Xbox team, but he does work with other companies and help set up training series for upcoming products, such as Windows 7, which is slated for release later this year.  I have decided to build my own Microsoft Xbox 360 fan site for a few reasons, including:

1) I like the Xbox 360

2) I have one of my own and would be happy to share my opinion and experience about it.

3) To network with other Xbox 360 fans and gamers alike

4) to give you inside scoop to upcoming games, special deals, etc relating to the Xbox 360 and related stuff.

5) And because I am an affiliate of various companies that sell the Xbox 360 and related products (such as the Microsoft Store).

Xbox 360 and regular Xbox Games I've Played So far (btw, in case if any of you are thinking about getting these games, I posted links to their link page at www.amazon.com so you can visit the links and get good deals on them if any of them interest you)

- Bully Scholarship Edition - this is a unique game for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 inspired by the Grand Theft Auto series, where you play as this school bully named Jimmy Hopkins, ands do missions for various clicks (i.e., jocks, bullies, nerds, etc), attend classes (usually mini games), and has plenty of GTA elements (such as doing as you please, prefects functioning as police offers, as well as other GTA style elements)

- Grand Theft Auto 4 - this is another multi-platform game I've been playing through.  In this chapter in the GTA series, you play as this Italian immigrand, named Nikko and explore the virtual world of Liberty City.  Liberty City gets its inspiration of New York City, and so this game does have a huge New York feel to it, complete with subways, the game's own version of Manhatttan, its own version of Brooklyn bridge, as well as other New York style elements (never been there myself, though).  Unlike GTA San Andreas, there are some new elements, such as more realistic game play (you actually feel like you are in New york in this game for example), being able to ride in taxis from one area to another if you don't feel like driving your own car, as well as other new elements.

- Grand Theft Auto San Andreas (Xbox) - GTA San Andreas is another interesting Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.  Like GTA 4, San Andreas does have its unique elements.  You play as Carl Johnson, an African American who is from Liberty City, but is forced to move to San Andreas after losing his mother to the Ballas gang.  In the game, CJ joins the grove street gang, and you pretty much get a simulation of what it might be like living as a gangster in Los Angeles.  Some unique elememts of GTA SA includes: huge map to explore (unlike most other GTA games, where you are in one city, in San Andreas, there are several major cities such as Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas, with smaller country towns, and freeways linking the cities along the way), even GTA 4 does not have as big of a map as San Andreas does.  Also, just as you feel like you are in New York in GTA 4, in San Andreas, you will feel like you are in Southern California (Los Santos takes after Los Angeles, for example), complete with California like elements (such as the Golden Gate bridge near San Fierro, Las Vegas (even though it is in Neveada), amongst other elements.  Also, pedestrians do have personalities and you can interact with them (such as replying to comments they give you).

- Castle Crashers - this is a unique new game submitted by www.newgrounds.com that is a revolutionary new arcade style game, where you play as knights and soliders serving your king, and have to try to rescue several princesses who have been kidnapped.  Some noteworthy levels and features includes: 1) game play similar to that of Ninja Turtles, Simpsons and Golden Axe (from the arcades), 2) amazing boss fights, including a huge giant cat fish, a mutant corn husk, an evil brides groom, as well as the showdown against an evil mage, and 3) up to 4 player game play, so up to 4 people can play this game at a time.

- The Simpsons Game

(and many others)
