Looking for a good membership site for gamers?  Look no further than the Electronic Consumer Association.  It is a club that you can join online where you can interact with other gamers, talk about current issues relating to video games (they do have a discussion forum that you can be a part  of), get special discounts on select games sold at the Amazon.  Also, the ECA does participate in gaming conferences, such as the G3 summit and others.

Looking for a good game rental service that rivals Blockbuster?  Look no further than gamefly my friend.  It is an online service where you can rent games you want for your system and return them after you have finished them (unlike at Blockbuster, where you only have 7 days to play the game you rent before you have to return it).  Also, if you prefer to keep the game(s) you rent, you do have the option to keep them.  This site can be extra useful if either you do not live near a video rental store like Blockbuster (can be typical if you live out in the country for example), the games you want are constantly rented or sold out as well as those of you looking for rare titles that you can't find at a store near you, such as PS2 games or earlier.

GoGamer.com Homepage

You know, I did try to join Gamestop's affiliate program at linkshare, though they rejected my application, probably due to lack of traffic to my site.  However, I am pleased to tell you that I was able to join the affiliate programs of some of their competitors, such as Game Fly, Walmart and Go Gamer.  Go Gamer is an online store that has an extensive collection of video games, pc games, and more.  Not as big of a store as say Game Stop or EBgamer, but if you are looking to compare prices of the games you want between online vendors (perhaps the game you want at Gamestop is too expensive for your tastes), then Go Gamer can be a good site to make the comparisons.

'Gobble' up the latest games at King.com - Win Cash!

Inbox Dollars - They have a section where you can play games for cash prizes (you will need to upgrade your membership there in order to take advantage of that feature)

I actually listed all of these sites together since they all have the same type of themes to them (with the exception of Inbox Dollars since in addition to being an online gaming site, it is also a paid to read and paid to sign up site where you can also read paid emails and earn cash as well as do cash offers and surveys if you wish).

Anyways, these online gaming sites all offer online flashplayer or shockwave games that you can play.  At some of these sites, you can play the games and watch flash player movies for free (such as Newgrounds), while at others, they have both a free mode and a paid mode (paid member ships offer more features, such as playing full versions of the games offered instead of a free trial, amongst other benefits).  Also, to encourage competition, some of these sites also offer cash prizes for top players in the games played (can be a good way to earn extra cash if you consider yourself a professional gamer at these kinds of sites.
